Cambridge Landmark, a hotel-focused private investment company, has closed on the acquisition of the Citizen Hotel, Autograph Collection, a 196-room full service hotel located in downtown Sacramento and two blocks from the California State Capital. The hotel was acquired from Platinum Equity and terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

A new franchise agreement has been signed with Marriott International and the hotel will remain as an Autograph Collection. The hotel will undergo a comprehensive renovation focused on upgrading the rooms, suites and public spaces.

Cambridge Landmark, a hotel-focused private investment company, has closed on the acquisition of the Grand Orlando Resort, a 718-room full service hotel located in the Celebration-Kissimmee area and just 5 minutes away from the Disney theme parks. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The hotel is under the independent brand Grand Orlando Resort at Celebration, but is in the process of being converted to a Delta by Marriott (deltahotels.marriott.com). The hotel will receive close to a $10 million dollar renovation focused on a new lobby, upgrade the common areas and other new amenities. This will be the largest Delta Hotel in the world and conveniently located to all the major attractions and just 20 minutes from Orlando International Airport (MCO).
